PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling raising device with which a user can purchase a desired seedling of a plant easily and which can show seedlings available for sale in real time, and cultivation pots.SOLUTION: An image of a cultivation pot 10 photographed by a camera 23 is image processed by an image processing section 40 for discriminating plant species of a seedling in the cultivation pot 10. Plant species is specified by an input section 42 and a pallet position of the cultivation pot with the seedling where the specified plant species corresponds to the plant species discriminated by the image processing section, is determined. As an indicator is provided near the cultivation pot and the indicator near the cultivation pot thus determined is lighted, a user can easily select the seedling of the plant species he/she has specified and purchase the same.【課題】ユーザーが容易に所望する植物の苗を購入できるとともに、販売可能な苗をリアルタイムに表示することができる育苗装置並びに栽培ポットを提供する。【解決手段】カメラ２３で撮影された栽培ポット１０の画像が画像処理部４０で画像処理されて栽培ポット内の苗の植物種が判別される。入力部４２で植物種が指定され、指定された植物種が画像処理部で判別された植物種と一致する苗がある栽培ポットのパレット位置が特定される。栽培ポットの近傍には表示器が設けられており、特定された栽培ポットはそこの表示器が点灯するので、ユーザーは指定した植物種の苗を簡単に選択して購入することができる。【選択図】図３
