PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing 7-phloroeckol compounds is provided to induce hair increase through activation in human follicle dermal pailla cells(HFDPC) and human keratinocytes(HaCaT).CONSTITUTION: A 7-phloroeckol compound for enhancing hair is denoted by chemical formula 1. The compound of chemical formula 1 is isolated from Ecklonia cava. A composition for enhancing hair contains the 7-phloroeckol compounds as an active ingredient. A cosmetic composition contains 0-1.0 uM of 7-phloroeckol compounds. A method for preparing the 7-phloroeckol compound comprises: a step of extracting freeze-dried Ecklonia cava with ethanol a step of fractioning the extract with n-hexane, dichloromethane, EtOAc, n-butanol, and H_2O and a step of fractioning and isolating an EtOAc fraction layer using column chromatography and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography. The cosmetic composition is manufactured in the form of a cream, ointment, liquid phase, emulsion, suspension, and spray.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012감태(Ecklonia cava: E. Cava)로부터 분리한 7‘-플로로에콜 (1-(3’,5‘-다이하이드록시페녹시)-7-(2“,4”,6-트리하이드록시페녹시)-2,4,9-트리하이드록시다이벤조-1,4-다이옥신)이 인체 모발 성장에 대해 갖는 효과에 대하여 세포 시스템내에서 연구되었다. 세포증식 및 항세포사멸사의 효과를 3-(4,5-다이메틸티아졸-2-일)-2,5-다이페닐 테트라졸륨 브로마이드(MTT) 분석 및 웨스턴 블롯(western blot)에 의해 인체 모낭 모유두 세포(hair follicle dermal papilla cell: HFDPC) 및 인체 각질형성세포(human epidermal keratinocyte: HaCaT)에 대하여 실시하였다. 7’-플로로에콜은 HFDPC 및 HaCaT의 증식을 유의하게 증식시켰다. HFDPC와 HaCaT에서 PI3K 및 인산화-AKT 단백질 발현이 7’-플로로에콜 처리량에 의존적으로 증가하였다. 또한, 세포 증식에 관련된 MEK1/2, 인산화-ERK 및 c-Fos의 단백질 수준은 7’-플로로에콜 처리량 의존적으로 증가하였다. 한편, 세포자멸사에 관련된 Bcl-2/Bax 비가 증가하여 세포자멸사를 저해하였고, p53 및 카스파아제(caspase)-3, 카스파아제-9은 유의하게 감소하였다. 이들 결과는 7‘-플로로에콜이 세포자멸사를 저해하고 HFDPC 및 HaCaT의 증식을 자극시킴으로써 인체 모발 성장을 촉진할 수 있음을 시사한다.
