To provide an array coil that allows for easy frequency adjustment, yet with high flexibility and light weight.SOLUTION: The array coil includes a plurality of coil units 500, each adjusted for receiving magnetic resonance signals from a subject. Each coil unit includes: a first coil element 501A and a second coil element 501B, each formed of a flexible linear conductor with a predetermined length； and a signal detecting unit 502 inserted in series between the first coil element and the second coil element to detect the magnetic resonance signals.
