A device (1) for the guided bone and/or tissue regeneration comprising a rigid wall member (2) having an inner surface (3), an outer surface (4) and an edge (5), the wall member (2) having a 3-dimensional shape such that the edge (5) fits to the bone or tissue surface around the area where the regeneration is to take place and the inner surface (3) of the wall member (2) together with the area where the regeneration is to take place defines a hollow space (6) having the shape and size of the bone or tissue to be regenerated. A method of preparing such a device comprising the steps of:a) acquiring information relating to the 3-dimensional shape and size of the bone and/or tissue to be regeneratedb) processing said information andc) making said device.
