PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel seat facilitating the switching operation of a locking operation fragment, and enabling a supporting mechanism to achieve a compact structure.
SOLUTION: A locking means R for fixing the position of a movable hood 1 is configured to include an engaging teeth part 4 formed on a movable hood-attaching face of a seat base 2, an engaging hook 7 installed in the movable hood 1 and elastically freely detachable to the engaging teeth part 4, and a lock-operating fragment 8 installed in the movable hood 1, and for keeping the state of the engaging hook 7 engaged to the engaging teeth part 4. The lock-operating fragment 8 is constituted so as to be slidably movable along the rod axis line direction over the locked position acting on the engaging hook 7 and a non-locked position separated from the engaging hook 7.
