PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which suppresses a decrease in absorption performance in a part with a smaller amount of absorbent materials and an increase in a thickness of an absorber with a greater amount of the absorbent materials when the absorbent materials are distributed unevenly in a cell.
SOLUTION: A joining part 56b is formed by joining a first sheet 57 and a bottom part of the first sheet side in each crease 58F in a second sheet. A tunnel-shaped cell 56C is formed by leaving the first sheet 57 and the second sheet 58 disjoined between the joining parts 56b. The absorber 56 having the respective cells 56C in which powder and granular absorbent material 59 including at least high absorbent polymer particles is movably enclosed with sufficient gaps is provided in a manner that the creases of the second sheet 58 are located on a surface side and extend in the width direction while the respective creases 58F of the second sheet 58 fall down, and both ends of the respective creases of the second sheet 58 are fixed in a manner to fall down. An intermediate part between the fixed parts is raised.
