PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation assisting method in which a state of a farm product is determined by using an image of the farm product, influence due to changes of an environment of the farm product is suppressed, and determination accuracy is improved.SOLUTION: An image of a farm product is captured by imaging means to obtain an object image (S12). A physical quantity regarding an environment of the farm field is measured by environment measurement means (S13). A state of the farm product is determined based on the object image and a standard image of the farm product (S15, S16).
