The present invention relates to a hydrogel composition containing catechin for would dressing, and a manufacturing method thereof, and, more specifically, to a hydrogel composition for wound dressing, which is effective to protection and treatment of wound by adding nano catechin particles to hydrogel of polyvinyl alcohol and pectin, and to a manufacturing method thereof. The hydrogel composition containing catechin for wound dressing of the present invention has catechin particles contained in hydrogel.
