The present invention provides an aminopyridine compound selected from the group consisting of:(2S,4S)-l-[(3-chloro-2-fluoro-phenyl)methyl]-4-[[3-fluoro-6-[(5-methyl-lH-pyrazol-3-yl)amino]-2-pyridyl]methyl]-2-methyl- piperidine-4-carboxylic acid: [Formula should be inserted here] and (2R,4R)-l-[(3-chloro-2-fluoro-phenyl)methyl]-4-[[3-fluoro-6- [(5-methyl-lH-pyrazol-3-yl)amino]-2-pyridyl]methyl]-2-methyl- piperidine-4-carboxylic acid: [Formula should be inserted here] or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, that inhibits Aurora A and, therefore may be useful in treating cancer.
