The present invention relates to a fundus camera or fluorescence fundus camera provided with an internal fixation target for aligning the visual axis of the eye being photographed with the axis of a detector of the fundus camera or the fluorescence fundus camera and to a fundus camera or fluorescence fundus camera provided with an internal fixation target without an additional optical path, the fundus camera or fluorescence fundus camera being provided so as to: at the time of taking a fundus photograph or a fluorescent fundus photograph, enable accurate photographing of the macula lutea and fovea centralis and accurate photographing of the surrounding areas concerned; and not generate an additional optical path and not generate a decrease in the performance of or a change in the size of the entire optical system. The fundus camera or fluorescence fundus camera provided with an internal fixation target without an additional optical path, according to the present invention, is an optical system having a visual target for visual fixation for fixing the gaze of a person, the visual target optical system comprising: a visual target (23) which emits light in order to fix the visual axis of a person; a visual target illumination lens (24) provided behind the visual target (23) on the same axis as the visual target (23) and receives the light emitted by the visual target (23); and a visual target control lens (25) which is provided in an aligned manner behind the visual target illumination lens (24) on the same axis as the visual target (23) and the visual target illumination lens (24) and is provided such that the light leaving the visual target control lens (25) is positioned within the focal length of the lens, wherein included in the visual target optical system are: an illumination unit (10) which emits light; an illumination lens (30) which is provided behind the visual target illumination lens (24) on the same axis as the visual target illumination lens (24) and emi
