The present invention relates to an external use skin composition containing high concentrated hyaluronic acid and a method of preparing the same and, more specifically, to an external use skin composition which contains high concentrated hyaluronic acid having high water retaining property, has small molecular weight and low viscosity to provide superior usability, and also prevents microbial contamination without an antiseptic. The external use skin composition prepared by a method according to the present invention contains high concentrated hyaluronic acid which has high water retaining property, small molecular weight and low viscosity, to be employed in various applications, such as a spray, to demonstrate superior moisturizing effect by being easily absorbed into the skin, and to prevent microbial contamination without an additional antiseptic. A method of preparing the external use skin composition may comprise the steps of: (a) applying heat or gamma ray to high-molecular hyaluronic acid whose molecular weight is 500-3000 kDa, to prepare low-molecular hyaluronic acid whose L value is 98 or more, b value is 3.5 or less and molecular weight is 100-300 kDa (b) dissolving the low-molecular hyaluronic acid in purified water to manufacture 2-5 wt% of a hyaluronic acid solution and (c) heating the hyaluronic acid solution under temperature 80-100°C to prepare a hyaluronic acid solution whose viscosity is 50-150 cps and molecular weight 10-30 kDa.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015본 발명은 히알루론산을 고농도로 함유하는 피부 외용제 조성물 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 수분 보유력이 뛰어난 히알루론산을 고 농도로 함유하면서도 분자량과 점도가 낮아 사용감이 우수할 뿐만 아니라 방부제를 포함하지 않아도 미생물의 오염이 없는 피부 외용제 조성물 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따라 제조된 피부 외용제 조성물은 수분 보유력이 뛰어난 저분자의 히알루론산을 고농도로 함유하면서도 점도가 낮아 스프레이 등 다양한 형태의 피부 외용제로 이용할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 피부내 흡수가 쉽게 이루어져 보습효과가 뛰어나고, 별도의 방부제 사용없이 제품의 미생물 오염을 방지할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
