PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological information monitor, a biological information software control method, and a program, which reduce a starting load of biological information processing software on second biological information in the case of displaying different biological information (the second biological information, for example, an ultrasonic image) together with a vital sign (first biological information).SOLUTION: A biological information monitor 10 acquires and displays a vital sign and an ultrasonic image. An event detection part 181 detects that an activation start event for starting activation processing of ultrasonic software, and an activation event for activating the ultrasonic software occur. A software control part 182 causes a standby state obtained by partially executing activation processing of the ultrasonic software in the case of detecting the activation start event.
