PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide interferon-beta extended formulation and producing method thereof, which is effective to viral infection, autoimmune disease, cancer and degenerative neuropathy and in which durability and stability in living body are improved.SOLUTION: There is provided an interferon-beta extended formulation comprising interferon-beta conjugate in which interferon-beta and immunoglobulin Fc region are conjugated with non peptide polymer selected from polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, ethylene glycol-propylene glycol copolymer, polyoxyethylated polyol, polyvinyl alcohol, polysaccharide, dextran, polyvinyl ethyl ether, biodegradable macromolecule, aliphatic polymer, chitin, hyaluronic acid and combination thereof.EFFECT: Activity in living body of the interferon-beta extended formulation is maintained at a comparatively high level, resulting in drastic increment in half-life in blood, thus it is usefully used for a variety of interferon indications.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】ウイルス感染、自己免疫疾患、癌及び神経退行性障害に有効な、生体内持続性及び安定性が向上したインターフェロンベータ持続性製剤、並びにその製造方法の提供。【解決手段】インターフェロンベータ及び免疫グロブリンＦｃ領域が、ポリエチレングリコール、ポリプロピレングリコール、エチレングリコール－プロピレングリコール共重合体、ポリオキシエチル化ポリオール、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリサッカライド、デキストラン、ポリビニルエチルエーテル、生分解性高分子、脂質重合体、キチン類、ヒアルロン酸及びそれらの組み合わせから選択される非ペプチド性重合体により連結されたインターフェロンベータ結合体を含む、インターフェロンベータの持続性製剤。【効果】前記インターフェロンベータ持続性製剤は、生体内活性が比較的高く維持され、血中半減期が大幅に増加するので、様々なインターフェロン適応症に有用に用いられる。【選択図】図１
