The present invention provides a pair of die rolls (20) for manufacturing soft capsules. In the die roll according to the present invention, stepped portions (230) are formed in pairs of inner edges of the pressing surfaces (222) corresponding to each other to provide a free space into which a pair of gelatin ribbons are introduced.
