PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular effervescent bath salt having fine effervescence of carbon dioxide gas, especially excellent in fine effervescence for about 30 seconds from immediately after being put into a bath (initial fine effervescence), and excellent in subsequently lasting fine effervescence.SOLUTION: The bath salt contains (A) a granulated substance containing an organic acid, an oil component, a nonionic surfactant, and a water-soluble binder, (B) a carbonate, and (C) a tartaric acid.
