A spreader system (150) of an agricultural vehicle (100) for spreading crop residue including first (152L, 152R) and second spreader devices (151L, 151R) and a chute (153L, 153R). The first spreader device (152L, 152R) includes a plurality of first paddles (157L, 157R) configured to rotate about a first axis (A2), the rotation of the first paddles (157L, 157R) producing a first stream of crop residue (S). The second spreader device (151L, 151R) includes a plurality of second paddles (156L, 156R) configured to rotate about a second axis (A1), the rotation of the second paddles (156L, 156R) producing a second stream of crop residue (C). The chute (153L, 153R) receives the first stream of crop residue (S) and the second stream of crop residue (C) flow respectively from the first spreader device (152L, 152R) and the second spreader device (151L, 151R). The first stream and the second stream of crop residue (C) are combined in the chute (153L, 153R).
