The invention relates to an apparatus (10) for treating patients suffering from vascular disease by means of infra-, audible- and ultrasound waves. The apparatus (10) contains a treating head (15) emitting sound waves with frequencies ranging from 1 Hz to 100 kHz and feeding them through a coupling medium (20) into a body portion (22) to be treated. Optionally, the apparatus (10) also contains a heating device (17) and a thermometer (16) for measuring the temperature of the body portion (22) to be treated. The treating head (15), the heating device (17) and the thermometer (16) are all connected to an electronics (12) equipped with a control panel (11).Linvention concerne un appareil (10) permettant de traiter des patients souffrant de maladies vasculaires au moyen dondes infra, audibles et ultrasons. Cet appareil (10) contient une tête de traitement (15) qui émet des ondes sonores à des fréquences comprises entre 1 Hz et 100 kHz et qui achemine les ondes à travers un support de raccord (20) jusque dans une partie du corps (22) à traiter. Facultativement, cet appareil (10) comprend aussi un dispositif de chauffage (17) et un thermomètre (16) permettant de mesurer la température de la partie du corps (22) à traiter. La tête de traitement (15), le dispositif de chauffage (17) et le thermomètre (16) sont tous reliés à un appareil électronique (12) équipé dun panneau de contrôle (11).
