The present invention relates to a vaccine composition for streptococcus pneumoniae containing membrane vesicles derived from the streptococcus pneumoniae and, more specifically, uses membrane vesicles derived from non-pathogenic streptococcus pneumoniae as a vaccine immunogen, thereby inducing immunization against infection of pathogenic streptococcus pneumoniae and a disease therefrom, so the present invention may valuably use the membrane vesicles as a non-pathogenic nontoxic vaccine which can prevent and treat infections of the pathogenic streptococcus pneumoniae.본 발명은 폐렴연쇄상구균 유래 막소포체를 포함하는 폐렴연쇄상구균에 대한 백신 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 보다 구체적으로는 비병원성인 폐렴연쇄상구균 유래 막소포체를 백신의 면역원으로 사용함으로써 병원성 폐렴연쇄상구균 감염 및 이로 인한 질환에 대한 면역화를 유도할 수 있으므로, 상기 막소포체는 병원성 폐렴연쇄상구균의 감염을 예방 및 치료할 수 있는 비병원성의 무독성 백신으로서 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.
