A fishing weight for use on a fishing line submerged in water is disclosed.The fishing weightconsists of a hollow body having opposite first and second ends, walls and ahollow interior. Atleast one aperture is formed on the walls to permit the water to pass throughthe aperture andthrough the hollow interior. The first end is closed off apart from a smallopening dimensionedto receive the fishing line and the second end has a larger opening which canbe closed off by acap configured to permit the fishing line to pass through. The hollow interiorcan hold anattractant, the attractant being selected from the group of attractantscomprising rattle beads,bubble generators and scent releasers.
