PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alcohol detector providing preferable detection results even when a test subject strongly blows in exhalation.
SOLUTION: A large space Q is formed between a front panel 3 and a fan 7 in a casing 5 structuring the alcohol detector 101. The exhalation A, strongly blown into an intake hole 18 by a driver M, is sent out to a downstream sensor part (a second support member 12 of a sensor support member 8) by the fan 7 after once staying in the space Q between the front panel 3 and fan 7 and reduced in the flow speed.
