PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find a natural substance having a hyaluronic acid production-promoting action from highly safe natural substances, and to provide a hyaluronic acid production promoter containing the substance as an active ingredient.SOLUTION: The hyaluronic acid production promoter is characterized by containing an extract from germinated and roasted Coix lachrymal-jobi L. obtained by roasting germinated Coix lachrymal-jobi L. and extracting the germinated and roasted Coix lachrymal-jobi L. as an active ingredient.
