Membrane forceps may include a forceps extension and a forceps jaw extending from the distal end of the forceps extension. The forceps jaw may include a first jaw and a second jaw. Each of the first jaw and the second jaw may include a gripping tip that grips the membrane by abutting against each other when the forceps jaws are in a closed configuration.
