A substance aimed at inhibiting the adherence of bacteria affecting the respiratory tract of mammals was developed. This substance is composed of a mixture of carbohydrates that bind to the bacterial adhesins and/or cellular receptors of the host and block the bacteria-host interaction, preventing bacterial adherence to the epithelium and the development of infection.Une substance visant à inhiber l'adhérence des bactéries s'attaquant aux voies respiratoires de mammifères a été mise au point. Cette substance est constituée d'un mélange de glucides qui se lient aux adhésines bactériennes et/ou aux récepteurs cellulaires de l'hôte et bloquent l'interaction bactéries-hôte, empêchant l'adhérence des bactéries à l'épithélium et le développement de l'infection.
