PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an un-fermented beer taste beverage in which the bubble retaining of the layer of bubbles produced when being poured into a drinking container is improved.SOLUTION: Provided is a beer taste beverage having an NIBEM value of 136 or higher, a bitterness value of 5.0 to 50.0 and an alcohol content of below 1v/v%, and comprising: a component derived from barley or malt wort or malt extract and indigestible dextrin of 1.00 to 2.00 w/v%. Also provided is a method for producing a beer taste beverage having an NIBEM value of 136 or higher, a bitterness value of 5.0 to 50.0%, an alcohol content of below 1v/v%, and an indigestible dextrin of 1.00 to 2.00 w/v%, having a preparation step where barley, malt or the like and indigestible dextrin are mixed, and a beverage is produced without undergoing a fermentation step after the preparation step.SELECTED DRAWING: None
