The modifiable molar band was made to give way to a more innovative method of using the traditional molar band. This modifiable molar band has a tractable integral hook that could be used in different ways instead of the traditional molar band that has a fixed integral hook and sizes. To make it more convenient to Dentists, instead of using different molar bands that has fixed integral hook and different sizes per molar band, in the new invention, dentists could only use one molar band since it has tractable integral hook and a knob that could adjust the size of the band. This tractable integral hook can be moved from left to middle to right with a lock on each side option depending on which is necessary for their orthodontic appliance adjustment. With the knob on this new invention, the size of the molar band could easily be adapted depending on the tooth with less expense on the patient and shorter time of adjustment for the dentist.
