PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intraocular lens that suppresses the growth of lens epithelial cells in an anterior capsule side equator part and a central equator part of a lens capsule, and thereby can suppress the occurrence of a secondary cataract caused by the growth of lens epithelial cells and the occurrence of a postoperative bacterial endophthalmitis.SOLUTION: An intraocular lens 1 includes an optical part 10 comprising the lens and two or more lens supporting parts 20 provided in a circumferential edge of the optical part 10. The lens supporting parts 20 are provided in the form extending along a circumferential direction of the optical part 10 from the circumferential edge of the optical part 10. Multiple projections 210 locked in a capsulolenticular equator part Se from intermediate parts 22 to tip parts 23 and having the form extending in the radial direction of the optical part 10 in the front side, outside and rear side of a portion locked in the capsulolenticular equator part Se are provided along the length direction of the lens supporting part 20.
