Method for estimating the physical characteristics of a beam of corpuscles in order to determine the dose to be emitted, including at least the following steps: the support Ω of each variable is partitioned into a set of contiguous and consecutive intervals in order to class the corpuscles in a phase-space file, the dimensions of the phase space being energy, position and direction - the support Ω is divided into a number Dmax of regular microchannels of given size δ and the likelihoods corresponding to the possible intervals are calculated by contiguous concatenation of the microchannels, the best partition of Ω being retained； the probability distribution of the phase space is estimated for a regularised partition defined on the basis of a mesh； the physical characteristics of the beam of corpuscles is calculated and doses are determined before the beam is emitted.Procédé pour estimer les paramètres caractéristiques physiques d'un faisceau de corpuscules afin de déterminer la dose à émettre, comportant au moins les étapes suivantes : • On détermine une partition du support Ω de chaque variable sous forme d'un ensemble / d'intervalles consécutifs et contigus pour le classement des corpuscules d'un fichier d'espace des phases en énergie, position et direction, on découpe le support Ω en un nombre Dmax de micro-canaux réguliers de taille donnée δ et on calcule les vraisemblances correspondant aux intervalles possibles par concaténation contigüe des micro-canaux, on retient la meilleure partition / de Ω, • On estime la distribution de probabilité de l'espace des phases pour une partition régularisée définie à partir d'un maillage, • On calcule les caractéristiques physiques du faisceau de corpuscules, et on détermine les doses avant d'émettre le faisceau.
