PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicament for the treatment or prevention of fibrosing of tissues and diseases caused by fibrosing of tissues, and to provide a treatment and/or prevention method using the medicament.SOLUTION: The medicament for the treatment and/or prevention of fibrosing of tissues and diseases caused by fibrosing of tissues contains a substituted diphenyl methanoic acid derivative represented by formula (1) or its salt or their solvates, or their hydrates as an effective component.
