The present invention relates to use of programmed cell death 2 (PDCD2) having a differentiation and self-proliferation regulation function of hematopoietic stem cells and, more specifically, to a hematopoietic stem cell differentiation or self-proliferation regulation promotion composition and a blood-related disease prevention or treatment pharmaceutical composition including PDCD2 protein or a gene coding the same； a method for producing hematopoietic stem cells with increased differentiation or self-proliferation ability； the hematopoietic stem cell manufactured thereby； and a blood-related disease prevention or treatment cell therapeutic agent including the same.
