PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cross brace for a wheelchair, and the wheelchair, capable of being compactly folded while hanging a seat downward.SOLUTION: This cross brace 40 for a wheelchair includes: a first brace member 41 having a gentle S shape, and having a first connection part 411 turnably connecting a connection bar 30 between the center and the upper end and a second brace member 42 having a gentle reverse S shape obtained by reversing the first brace member 41, and having a second connection part 421 turnably connecting a connection bar 30 between the center and the upper end.
