PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical instrument capable of being easily detachably attached to an adaptor, and capable of being stably fixed to the adaptor.SOLUTION: A surgical instrument 40 comprises: a base body 40b having an attachment face 40a to an adaptor 60； a treatment instrument 41； a plurality of driven members 44 provided rotatably on the base body 40b； a housing 43 provided on the base body 40b and covering the plurality of the driven members 44； and first and second movable members 46 which are movably provided to the housing 43 and the base body 40b. The attachment face 40a of the base body 40b comprises first and second guide grooves 45 for receiving first and second guide rails 63 provided on the adaptor 60 by slide.
