The system has a flow generator (210), and a control device (224) for controlling operation of the flow generator in a mode to generate pressure less than therapeutic pressure range. The control device controls the operation of the generator in another mode to generate another pressure which is in the therapeutic pressure range, where the system swings between the former pressure and the latter pressure in synchronization with breathing state of the user. An opening is formed between a user interface and the flow generator.
