PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unnecessary ultrasound from occurring by forming an inclined surface on a reflection portion in a closed vessel.SOLUTION: In a short axis oscillating probe, a piezoelectric element group 2 arranged in a long axis direction and having an acoustic lens 6 on a surface for transmitting/receiving ultrasound is provided on a rotary holding base 1 stored in a closed vessel 3, ultrasound transmitted from and received on the surface for transmitting/receiving ultrasound of the piezoelectric element group 2 is scanned mechanically in a short axis direction by rotationally oscillating the rotary support base 1 in a short axis direction of the piezoelectric element group 2, and the closed vessel 3 is filled with liquid as an acoustic medium L. And, when unnecessary ultrasound traveling in the closed vessel 3 exceeding a range of the acoustic lens 6 is reflected on any of reflection portions in the closed vessel 3 after propagating in a space between a surface of the acoustic lens 6 and an inner peripheral surface 3c of the closed vessel 3 in the long axis direction or the short axis direction, the unnecessary ultrasound after the reflection is prevented from traveling in a direction of returning to the space between the surface of the acoustic lens 6 and the inner peripheral surface 3c of the closed vessel 3a by inclining a surface of the reflection portion.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】密閉容器内の反射部位の形状を傾斜させて不要超音波の発生を防ぐ。【解決手段】短軸揺動型探触子において、長軸方向に並べられて超音波送受波面に音響レンズ6を有する圧電素子群2を、密閉容器3内に収容された回転保持台1上に設け、前記圧電素子群2の短軸方向に前記回転保持台1を回転揺動することにより前記圧電素子群2の超音波送受波面から送受波される超音波を前記短軸方向に機械的に走査し、前記密閉容器3内に音響媒質Lとしての液体を充填する。そして、前記音響レンズ6の表面と前記密閉容器3の内周面3cとの間を、長軸方向または短軸方向に伝播した後に前記音響レンズ6の範囲を超えて前記密閉容器3内を進行する不要超音波が、前記密閉容器3内のいずれかの反射部位にて反射する際に、反射後の不要超音波が前記音響レンズ6の表面と前記密閉容器3の内周面3cとの間に戻る方向には反射しないようにするため、前記反射部位の表面形状を傾斜させたことを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
