The present invention provides antibodies characterized by binding to the p19 subunit of human IL-23 and having selective neutralizing properties of high affinity. The antibody is useful for the treatment or prevention of autoimmune or inflammatory conditions selected from the group consisting of multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, inflammatory bowel disease, ankylosing spondylitis, graft versus host disease, lupus and metabolic syndrome. Antibodies are also useful in the treatment of cancer.본 발명은 인간 IL-23의 p19 서브유닛에 결합하고 고-친화도의 선택적인 중화 특성을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 항체를 제공한다. 항체는 다발성 경화증, 류마티스 관절염, 건선, 염증성 장질환, 강직성 척추염, 이식편대숙주질환, 루프스 및 대사증후군으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 자가면역 또는 염증성 상태의 치료 또는 예방에 유용하다. 항체는 또한 암의 치료에도 유용하다.
