The purpose of the present invention is to provide a cardiopulmonary resuscitation system capable of passive oxygen administration using less oxygen than conventional passive oxygen administration methods. This cardiopulmonary resuscitation system (100) comprises: a chest compression means (120) that repeats a chest compression cycle having, as one cycle, a compression period and a recoil period; an artificial respiration means (110) that is capable of supplying gas for oxygen administration to a patient during the recoil period and repeats an artificial respiration cycle having, as one cycle, an inhalation period and an exhalation period; and a control means (not shown) that controls the artificial respiration means (110) and/or the chest compression means (120). The control means determines, for each recoil period, whether or not supply of gas for oxygen administration is required and sends a supply instruction signal to the artificial respiration means when the determination is other than negative, said supply instruction signal being for administration of gas for oxygen administration.
