A medicament injection device comprising: a main body a medicament cartridge holder fixed with respect to the main body, wherein themedicament cartridge holder is configured to hold a medicament cartridge a needle carrier carrying a needle, wherein the needle carrier is axially movable with respect to the main body and a rotatable cap at a distal end of the device, wherein the cap comprises a first pre-stressed spring coupled to the needle carrier, wherein the cap is arranged so that rotational movement thereof causes release of the first pre-stressed spring thereby causing the needle carrier to move axially towards a proximal end of the device.La présente invention concerne un dispositif dinjection de médicament comprenant : un corps principal un support de cartouche de médicament fixe par rapport au corps principal, le support de cartouche de médicament étant conçu pour contenir une cartouche de médicament un support daiguille portant une aiguille, le support daiguille étant axialement mobile par rapport au corps principal et un capuchon rotatif à une extrémité distale du dispositif, le capuchon comprenant un premier ressort précontraint couplé au support daiguille, le capuchon étant disposé de sorte que son mouvement de rotation entraîne la libération du premier ressort précontraint, ce qui amène le support daiguille à se déplacer axialement vers une extrémité proximale du dispositif.
