The present invention discloses a noodle making machine, which can easily produce noodles in various types at home, and a method to control the same. The noodle making machine has: a mode of making dough for a certain time after containing the ingredients； a mode of making noodles by extruding dough, made in the mode of making dough or made in advance by a user； and an automatic mode of performing the mode of making dough, the mode of making noodles, and of automatically controlling the operation time of the mode of making dough and operation time of the mode of making noodles by measuring the amount of ingredients and dough. The noodle making machine includes a controlling part which controls the operation of the dough part which produces dough and noodles.
