A method of providing a therapeutic effect to bodily tissue, in which the method includes affixing a therapeutic electromagnetic field generating device to a patient in which the bodily tissue is located, activating the therapeutic electromagnetic field generating device to generate a pulsed electromagnetic field, in which the pulsed electromagnetic field has a pulse frequency and a duty cycle, emitting the pulsed electromagnetic field in a direction of the bodily tissue, and inducing generation of heat in the bodily tissue to treat the bodily tissue based on absorption of the pulsed electromagnetic field, in which inducing the generation of heat provides a temperature change of at least 0.1 °C in the bodily tissue.Linvention propose un procédé consistant à fournir un effet thérapeutique à un tissu corporel, le procédé consistant à fixer un dispositif générant un champ électromagnétique thérapeutique à un patient dans lequel le tissu corporel est situé, à activer le dispositif générant un champ électromagnétique thérapeutique pour générer un champ électromagnétique pulsé, le champ électromagnétique pulsé ayant une fréquence de pulsation et un cycle de travail, à émettre le champ électromagnétique pulsé dans une direction du tissu corporel, et à induire une génération de chaleur dans le tissu corporel pour traiter le tissu corporel sur la base dune absorption du champ électromagnétique pulsé, linduction de la génération de chaleur fournissant un changement de température dau moins 0,1°C dans le tissu corporel.
