PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output apparatus capable of appropriately advising measurement of physical information while a user is looking at and listening to a broadcast program.SOLUTION: The image output apparatus includes: an output section that outputs a broadcast program data representing a broadcast program； and a control section that controls the output section to output an image data advising a user to measure physical information which is a piece of information on the status of physical body while the output section outputs the broadcast program data in place of or along with the broadcast program data.
