PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding apparatus suitable for mass production and capable of spherically molding seafood cake raw ingredients more efficiently than ever without burdening a transport/drive system or entailing product morphological quality deteriorations.SOLUTION: In a molding apparatus for spherically molding, on the transport route of seafood cake raw ingredients, raw ingredient lumps conveyed atop a belt conveyer while being distributed thereon at a specified interval sequentially at a fixed quantity each set in advance, a molding unit possessing one or more molding molds for stopping and turning over the raw ingredient lamps on the transport path a drive unit possessing a lift mechanism for inducing the ascent and descent of the molding unit and a reciprocal mobilization mechanism for reciprocally mobilizing the molding unit and a raw ingredient lump detection unit are furnished. The drive unit induces the descent of the molding mold by driving the lift mechanism and the reciprocal mobilization mechanism so as to induce, interlockedly with the descent, a forward movement along the opposite direction of the transport direction and, simultaneously with the ascent thereof, a backward movement to a retreat position. Cycles of spherically molding raw ingredient lumps are continuously invoked by repeating the foregoing series of actions.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】搬送駆動系への負担や製品の形状品質低下を招くことなく、従来より効率的に練り製品原料の球状成形を行える量産に適した成形装置の提供。【解決手段】練り製品の練り状原料が予め定められた一定量ずつ順次所定間隔で分配されてベルトコンベア上で搬送されてくる原料塊に対してその搬送経路上で球状成形するための成形装置において、原料塊を搬送経路上で受け止めて転動させる成形型を一個以上有する成形部と、成形部を昇降させる昇降機構及び成形部を往復移動させる往復動機構を有する駆動部と、原料塊の検出部とを備え、駆動部は、昇降機構と往復動機構を駆動して成形型を下降させこれに連動して搬送方向と対向方向に往動させた後上昇と同時に退避位置へ複動され、これら一連の動作を反復して原料塊の球状成形を連続的に行うものとした。【選択図】 図1
