In the process for producing dental prostheses such as bridges,crowns, implants, etc. from ceramic material, production is carried out atleast byway of one CAD/CAM machining station. The ceramic material to be workedconsists of an unsintered disk-shaped blank (3) or one which has not beensubjected to final sintering, working of the blank into dental prosthesesbeingundertaken at a right angle or quasi-right angle to the parallel or quasi-parallelsurfaces of the blank.
