The present invention relates to: an abiological stress-inducing OsATL5 protein including an amino acid sequence of sequence list SEQ NO: 2 and enhancing resistance against abiological stress in a plant when being over-expressed in the plant； a nucleic acid molecule including a nucleotide sequence coding the OsATL5 protein； a vector including the nucleic acid molecule； a transformant transformed by the vector； a method for producing a transformed plant having enhanced abiological stress resistance； and a transformed plant produced through the method and having enhanced abiological stress resistance. A nucleotide sequence used in the present invention is involved in an increase of resistance of a plant against abiological stress (for example, dry stress and low temperature stress). When a plant is transformed by using the same, resistance of the plant against the stress is enhanced, thereby overcoming a limitation of a plant growing area. When the same is applied to a rice plant, a rice plant having strong resistance against abiological stress can be produced, thereby maximizing productivity.본 발명은 서열목록 제 2 서열의 아미노산 서열을 포함하며 식물체에서 과발현되는 경우 상기 식물체에 비생물(abiotic) 스트레스에 대한 내성을 증진시키는 비생물 스트레스-유도성 OsATL5 단백질 및 상기 OsATL5 단백질을 코딩하는 뉴클레오타이드 서열을 포함하는 핵산분자, 상기 핵산분자를 포함하는 벡터, 상기 벡터에 의해 형질전환된 형질전환체, 비생물 스트레스 내성이 증진된 형질전환 식물체의 제조방법 및 상기 제조방법에 의해 제조된 비생물 스트레스에 대한 내성이 증진된 형질전환 식물체에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에서 이용되는 뉴클레오타이드 서열은 비생물 스트레스(예컨대, 건조 스트레스 및 저온 스트레스)에 대한 식물체의 저항성 증대에 관여를 하며, 이를 이용하여 식물체를 형질전환 하면 상술한 스트레스에 대한 식물체의 저항성이 증가하여 식물체 재배 지역의 한계 극복할 수 있으며, 벼에 적용될 경우 비생물 스트레스에 강한 벼의 생산이 가능하여 생산력을 극대화시킬 수 있다.
