PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the generation of a resonance sound while preventing deteriorated sound quality in a remote controller for a hot-water supply device for providing a voice guidance function and an intercom function by mounting construction on a wall surface, by simply identifying a frequency band causing the generation of the resonance sound and attenuating the signal component of the frequency band to maintain the signal intensity of other frequency bands.SOLUTION: In a control unit 8, a suppression frequency band setting function is provided for setting by a user operation a frequency band in which sound pressure is to be suppressed among a plurality of frequency bands. Between a voice waveform output unit 10 and a speaker 2, a filter circuit 12 is provided to attenuate the signal component of a frequency band set by the control unit 8 among signal components included in the voice waveform signal.
