PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shellfish culture apparatus capable of capturing spawn and floating larvae of shellfish to rear them in conditions and states close to a habitat at a low cost and preventing shellfish in culture from escaping or flowing out on waves of the sea surface or water surface.SOLUTION: A shellfish culture apparatus 1 includes: a rearing net part 2 stretched near the sea bottom or the water bottom； a capture/protection net part 3 connected on one end side to the rearing net part and laid over to cover the top of the rearing net part； a first support member 4 supporting the other end side of the capture/protection net part in a vertically movable manner； and a buoyant body 6 mounted to the other end side of the capture/protection net part to vertically move the other end side of the capture/protection net part according to the vertical movement of the sea surface or the water surface. Green laver is stuck to the rearing net part and the capture/protection net part, and the other end side of the capture/protection net part is vertically moved in the spawning period of shellfish to capture spawn or floating larvae. After captured, the spawn or floating larvae are held and reared between the capture/protection net part and the rearing net part.【課題】貝類の卵や浮遊幼生を捕獲して棲息環境に近い条件及び状態で低コストに育成でき、且つ養殖中の貝類が逃げ出したり、海面または水面の波により流出したりするのを防止できる貝類の養殖装置を提供する。【解決手段】貝類の養殖装置１は、海底または水底の近傍に張設される育成網部２と、一端側が育成網部に連設され、この育成網部上を覆うように重ねられる捕獲・保護網部３と、捕獲・保護網部の他端側を上下動自在に支持する第１の支持部材４と、捕獲・保護網部の他端側に装着され、海面または水面の上下動に応じて捕獲・保護網部の他端側を上下動させる浮力体６とを具備し、育成網部と捕獲・保護網部に青海苔を付着させ、貝類の産卵期に捕獲・保護網部の他端側を上下動させて卵または浮遊幼生を捕獲し、捕獲後に捕獲・保護網部と育成網部との間に卵または浮遊幼生を挟んで育成することを特徴とする。【選択図】図１
