The present invention relates to a cosmetic product for reducing hair appearance in the skin comprising (a) a composition comprising i) at least one film forming polymer in an amount sufficient to provide hair appearance reducing effect on the skin, and ii) dermatologically acceptable carrier and (b) communication instructing to apply the composition along the direction of hair growth on the area of the skin where hair appearance reduction is desired. The present invention also relates to a method for reducing hair appearance in the skin comprising applying to said skin a cosmetic composition comprising at least one film forming polymer in an amount sufficient to provide hair appearance reducing effect on said skin, and dermatologically acceptable carrier.Cette invention concerne un produit cosmétique permettant de réduire lapparition de poils sur la peau, ledit produit cosmétique comprenant (a) une composition comprenant i) au moins un polymère filmogène en une quantité suffisante pour obtenir un effet de réduction dapparition de poils sur la peau, et ii) un véhicule dermatologiquement acceptable et (b) une notice indiquant dappliquer la composition dans le sens de pousse des poils dans la zone de peau où lon souhaite réduire lapparition de poils. Cette invention concerne également un procédé permettant de réduire lapparition de poils sur la peau comprenant lapplication à ladite peau dune composition cosmétique comprenant au moins un polymère filmogène en une quantité suffisante pour obtenir un effet de réduction dapparition de poils sur ladite peau, et un véhicule dermatologiquement acceptable.
