PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid insect pest repellent for human bodies having not only high persistence of insect pest repellent effects or high safety for the human bodies but also excellent usability without any risk of inhaling a chemical during application.SOLUTION: The insect pest repellent for the human bodies is a solid composition composed of a soap paste of (a) an insect pest repellent ingredient and (b) a 2-6C alcohol and/or a 2-6C glycol dissolving the insect pest repellent, saponified with (c) two or more kinds selected from 10-22C fatty acids and an aqueous solution of an alkali.
