PURPOSE: A method for displaying the age degree of kimchi of a kimchi refrigerator is provided to enable a user to directly confirm a present age step of the kimchi by lighting a lamp on a specific region of a symbol by an age step and to obtain excellent fermentation science images by making the symbol into a human shape. CONSTITUTION: A method for displaying the age degree of kimchi includes a step of lighting a lamp on a specific region of a symbol by an age step. The symbol is displayed by a body region of human. A step of displaying the symbol by the body region of human comprises: a step of lighting a body shape displaying lactobacillus growth preparation step； a step of lighting a face shape indicating a lactobacillus growth step； and a step of additionally lighting ears, eyes, mouth, and nose shape which indicate a proliferated lactobacillus maintenance step.
