The present invention relates to a pine nut waste extract and a composition for preventing or treating liver cancer containing the same as an active ingredient and, more specifically, to a composition for preventing or treating liver cancer containing the pine nut waste extract, a pharmaceutical composition, a food composition, a functional health food, and a method for producing a pine nut waste fraction. The pine nut waste extract of the present invention does not have cytotoxicity, and excellently inhibits growth of liver cancer cell lines particularly among various cancer cell lines, thereby being effective in preventing or treating liver cancer.본 발명은 잣박 추출물과 이를 유효성분으로 포함하는 간암의 예방 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 잣박 추출물을 포함하는 간암 예방 또는 치료용 조성물, 약학적 조성물, 식품 조성물, 건강기능식품 및 잣박 분획물의 제조 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 잣박 추출물은 세포독성을 갖지 않으면서, 여러 암세포주 중에서 특허 간암 세포주에 대한 생장억제효과가 뛰어나므로 간암의 예방 또는 치료에 효과적이다.
