The present invention relates to a novel bacteriophage PM2 having an ability to kill Proteus mirabilis specifically； a pharmaceutical composition comprising the bacteriophage for preventing or treating infectious diseases caused by Proteus mirabilis； an antibiotic composition； a feed additive composition； a feedstuff； a disinfectant or a detergent； and a method for preventing or treating infectious diseases caused by Proteus mirabilis, comprising a step of administering the bacteriophage to an animal. The method for preventing or treating infectious diseases caused by Proteus mirabilis by using the bacteriophage PM2 of the present invention has an extremely high specificity for Proteus mirabilis compared with existing chemicals such as antibiotics, and the bacteriophage PM2 infects Proteus mirabilis to propagate by 100 times or more inside the Proteus mirabilis, and thus has an excellent lysis activity and is highly resistant against physicochemical stimuli.
