The present invention demonstrates a product described as a mechanical functional orthosis that can be coupled to one or both hands of quadriplegic or tetraparetic patients with spinal cord injury at level c6 and c7 onwards. This device is activated by the contraction of the wrist extensor, flexor or elbow extensor muscles, and these kinesiological functions are compatible with the remaining functions described and observed in the dermatomes.
